Ivan Abreu Luciano is a Dominican-American producer, director, and writer born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City. After fifteen years serving in the United States Air Force, Ivan turned his lens toward the stories that matter most to him — raw, intimate portraits of the human experience.

Now a film student at American University, he brings a veteran's discipline and a storyteller's heart to every project. His production company, Forty Four Pictures, is home to work spanning narrative film, animation, photography, and children's literature.

His next project, My Brother's Keeper, is a short film about regret, loss, and the power of brotherhood in overcoming the inescapable obstacles that life delivers.
